We have some rules and regulations to ensure we keep things safe and environmentally responsible. Please follow all the regulations; Thank you for your assistance in maintaining a clean and safe boatyard

IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY DAMAGE TO THRU HULLS, TRANSDUCERS, WINGS, CHINES, STRUTS, PROPS, SHAFTS, HULL ETC WHICH COULD BE CAUSED BY THE STRAPS.

PAYMENT POLICIES:
Full payment for all work performed is required before the boat is launched.

YARD ENVIRONMENTAL AND SAFETY POLICIES:
1. Any outside contractors must provide proof of $2 million insurance and WCB coverage. Boat owners are responsible for them and anything they do.
2. All waste liquids are to be removed by the owner from the yard, unless agreed to be taken away by yard personnel (Diesel, gasoline, coolant and bilge water), for correct disposal, charges will apply.
3. Sanding or scraping must be done in an ENCLOSED TENTED AREA and with a FULL COVER GROUND SHEET. The area must be cleaned up daily, more often if the weather is windy or stormy. Failure to keep the area clean will result in the boatyard staff doing the clean up and charging $99.50 per hour.
4. There is no washing of the boat below the water line at the boat space. All bottom washing must be done on the cement pad by the boatyard staff.
5. All environmental regulations WILL BE ENFORCED IN THE YARD. Any spills or contamination must be reported and cleaned up at your expense.
6. GARBAGE. A small amount of garbage may be disposed of in the dumpster. Large quantities must be taken away by the boat owner or discussed with the Boatyard staff to arrange disposal, extra charges will apply.
7. CHILDREN. No children are allowed in the boat yard unless fully supervised.
8. VEHICLES. Vehicles are not permitted in the boatyard except to load/unload equipment or the removal of disposables.
9. SECURITY. Vector is NOT responsible for any items left unattended on or about your vessel at any time.
10. MECHANICAL WORK. A service order is required for us to work on your vessel. Come up to the office. The customer is wholly responsible for the maintenance of the vessel while at the boatyard, this includes but is not limited to, winterizing, any shore power that your vessel requires for fridges, heaters etc. A service order is required to be filled out otherwise no work will be performed on your vessel.
11. LAYDAYS, Customer is responsible for all lay days, Hours of operation Mon - Fri 8-4.30, There is no haul/launch on weekends or holidays and the customer is responsible for lay days when closed. Launches must be scheduled in advance and in busy times the haul calendar may be full. No launches scheduled after 3:30 PM.

*Please be advised that failure to clean up or report a spill may result in significant charges for cleanup services and potential fines from government regulators. Any fines imposed by government authorities as a result of a spill will be the responsibility of the party responsible for the spill.

Service Work Policy
At Vector Yacht Services, we are committed to delivering the highest standard of service for all offsite work. To maintain efficiency and quality, the following policies apply:

Minimum Service ChargeAll work will incur a minimum charge equivalent to 1 hour of labour, regardless of the duration of the task.

Technician Communication: To ensure our technicians can complete their work efficiently, we kindly request that any questions or discussions be directed to our office staff or service manager. Please note that any direct communication or consultations with our technicians  may result in additional charges, which will be added to the final invoice.
